Meet Our Founder
Stephanie Landry
At the heart of our organization is the founder of Hour Care, Stephanie Landry. She has over twenty years of experience in the healthcare industry, holding a Master's Degree in Medical Health Administration. Stephanie Landry is a Certified Nurses Assistant and worked as an Ombudsman for the state of Texas for several years where she worked with residents and patients directly and helped resolve the issues and complaints they had.
While filling her tenure as an Ombudsman, she was able to visit countless nursing homes. In the process and during these visits she realized that something was missing. Stephanie saw that many elderly and in-need individuals were falling through the cracks. These individuals were caught in the middle, they were to ill to take care of themselves, but did not yet need nursing home care. She found they had no where to go.
Stephanie Landry's heart went out to these individuals and after many years of contemplation and preparation, Hour Care was born. Stephanie Landry founded Hour Care as a home of transitions; it is an atmosphere where love and care go hand in hand. She knows and understands with great depth that "No greater love can be shown, than to help someone other than yourself." Stephanie lives by those words and with open arms, she kindly cares for those in need.
